Directions:
Administer the first dose orally after observing a temperature drop of one degree or more, as active labor is typically expected within 12-24 hours. Continue dosing every 4-6 hours until labor begins and after each newborn is delivered.
Cats: Do not exceed 1 ml per dose.
Dogs up to 20 lbs: 2 ml for the initial dose, 1 ml for subsequent doses.
Dogs over 20 lbs: 1 ml per 10 lbs body weight for the initial dose, followed by 1-3 ml for subsequent doses.
If labor stalls for more than an hour, administer an additional dose. Should labor stall for more than 2 hours, consult a veterinarian immediately.
