Intended Use:
The eSAA Quantitative Test Kit is designed for in vitro quantitative testing of eSAA concentration in whole blood, serum, or plasma of equines. Clinically, it is primarily used to evaluate the auxiliary diagnosis and treatment effectiveness of inflammatory diseases in equines.
Test Principle:
This test kit uses an immunofluorescence sandwich method to quantitatively detect the concentration of SAA in equine samples. The sample is mixed with a diluent and added to the test card. The eSAA in the sample binds with the fluorescent-labeled antibody on the conjugate pad to form a compound. This compound moves along the nitrocellulose membrane and is captured by the corresponding antibody on the testing line. The amount of fluorescent-labeled antibodies accumulated on the testing line correlates with the eSAA concentration in the sample.
Materials Provided:
Test Card: Consists of a test strip and plastic shell with components like a sample pad, conjugate pad, nitrocellulose membrane, absorbent paper, and PVC board.
Sample Diluent: Main component is PBS buffer.

Operation Instructions
Storage and Stability:
Store between 4°C to 30°C. Valid for 24 months. Once opened, use the test card within 1 hour.
Applicable Device:
Compatible with veterinary immunofluorescence series instruments produced by Wondfo.
Sample Requirements:
Whole Blood: Use an anticoagulant tube or add anticoagulants (recommended EDTA). Shake well and test immediately or store at 2-8°C for up to 48 hours.
Serum and Plasma: Separate serum and plasma as soon as possible to avoid hemolysis. Test immediately or store at 2-8°C for up to 48 hours.
Testing Method:
Read the Operation Instructions for both the test kit and the Veterinary Immunofluorescence Analyzer.
Insert the ID chip into the instrument, ensuring the Lot No. matches the test card.
Balance the sample, diluent, and test card to room temperature.
Mix the sample with the diluent, add to the test card, and perform the test in either "Quick Test" or "Standard Test" mode as per instructions.
Interpret results displayed on the instrument.
